Sara Robbert, CD
Postpartum Doula
Bed Rest Doula
As a postpartum doula, Sara is passionate about supporting families through the beautiful yet challenging transition that comes with welcoming a new baby. She specializes in nurturing both parents and newborns during this critical period, offering compassionate, non-judgmental care that is customized to meet the unique needs of each family. She is a certified postpartum doula with CAPPA.
Sara’s services include emotional support, practical help around the home, newborn care guidance, and resources for breastfeeding, sleep, and infant development. Whether it’s assisting with meal prep, helping you get much-needed rest, or being a calm presence as you navigate the new skill of breastfeeding, she is here to make sure you feel confident, cared for, and empowered as you embark on this new chapter.
With a background in children’s ministry, two decades of caregiving as a babysitter and nanny, and expertise in women’s cycle-syncing and understanding the female body and hormones, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and warmth to every family she works with. As a mother of two born 2021 and 2022, 13 months apart, she understands firsthand the importance of feeling supported and seen during this time.
Sara worked as a postpartum doula in Chicago, IL before moving to a little country home near Saugatuck, MI last year with her husband Adam, their two kiddos, and two cats. They enjoy spending time outdoors whenever possible. Sara is an avid reader and coffee drinker and enjoys spending time with friends and checking out new restaurants.
Sara’s goal is to create a nurturing environment where both baby and parents thrive, and she looks forward to being a trusted partner in your postpartum journey.
