From a young age, Kendall’s favorite pastime was playing with baby dolls, nurturing them as if they were real. As she grew older, her love for caregiving only deepened. She jumped into the world of childcare by working in a daycare setting, surrounding herself with what she loved the most – babies! In addition to working at a daycare, she has been an occasional date-night babysitter and a nanny, accumulating 10 consecutive years of diverse childcare experience.

For the past three years, Kendall had the privilege of being a nanny to a wonderful family in Chicago, IL, whom she cherished deeply. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work with children and families is creating strong bonds that can last a lifetime. Being a nanny has been the most fulfilling job she’s ever had. Witnessing the growth and development of the children under her care brings her immense happiness.

Kendall’s journey led her back to her hometown of Kalamazoo, MI to pursue a career as a doula. Being a doula merges everything she loves about childcare with a personalized and dedicated approach. She is passionate about stepping into a client’s home and tailoring her support to meet their specific needs in the present moment. Her ultimate goal is to leave her clients feeling empowered and well-prepared long after her role ends. Knowing that she has played a part in making their day or night smoother brings her immense satisfaction and motivates her in her work.

Kendall approaches her work with babies with confidence, striving to reflect this passion in every aspect of her practice. Providing unbiased support to each client is fundamental to her, driving her commitment to excellence as a doula and creating a mindset of continuous learning and growth. Kendall is a certified postpartum doula through DTI.
